Family
She lives with both of her parents, who are peasant farmers. They work hard to provide for the family, but like many farming families, meeting all of their daily needs is not always easy.

Asenath makes friends with everyone she meets. She's curious about everything around her, always exploring and asking why. She wants to be a teacher someday.
